We have attended an aesthetic congress that was held in Miami April 3-4, 2011. It was a very interesting and different.

It featured the usual General Session, Advanced Salon/Spa Business Seminar, In-Depth Makeup Class, Green Summit and manufacturers' workshops.

A new feature at the 2011 Miami International Congress of Esthetics and Spa are events hosted by Spa Buzz and the National Aesthetics Spa Network(NASN), two professional organizations dedicated to learning and networking. The involvement of these two outstanding networkds offered attendees and additional opportunity to develop relationships with and learn from other accomplished professionals.

Green Spa Network Village was a very unique feature of the Congress. It was an elite addition to the conference and represented the latest effort of the International Congress of Esthetics and Spa to promote greening of our industry. It was located in the middle of the Natural & Organic Pavilion surrounded by companies who were promoting greening. A visitor to the Congress could schedule a no charge facial, manicure, pedicure or massage with one of the products demonstrated in Natural & Organic Pavilion.

We also attended LNE & Spa Award Ceremony. It was a glamorous event filled with spa professionals. The Awards were honoring a grand winners in each of the following categories: Luxury spa, Day spa, Medical Spa, and Green/Wellness Spa.

Also we visited individual booths to meet the professionals of this industry, and of course we had to take pictures in order to share it with you.
