This week, Cosmetic Portal looked at seminar participation in the beauty industry and by talking some of the professionals, we came to the conclusion that professionals are hesitant to try new seminars as they do not know what they are and how they might be beneficial to them. In order to overcome this problem and create interest in seminars, Cosmetic Portal decided to visit them and give you our unbiased opinion.

On the 26th of March 26th, 2010 we attended a seminar by Sales Partners. The seminar was presented by Nicole Jansen, who is specialist in business development.

The seminar was focused on taking your income to the next level. Nicole teaches you simple steps how to increase your income by 15%-85% in a matter of 12 weeks.

The seminar gave us the inside scoop of businesses and the factors that are affecting business growth. Nicole broke down the components of successful business practises and how to maintain it. It was clear that content holds context in its place and drives business forward. Without it there would be no business and no matter how good you are at what you do, you will never succeed without a strong context.
Very important tools were given to participants to use throughout the seminar. Every piece of information was backed up by an exercise to solidify the information. Nicole Jansen kept the seminar interactive by engaging the participants on a regular basis with simple exercises such as changing the seating arrangements every two hours.
This seminar was designed not only to provide visitors with information but also tools to create a success plan that is easy to follow and achieve. Goal sheets helped visitors to prioritize their goals and determine what goals are the most important and how to approach them. We walked out with a 12 week plan of action to make sure that we succeed in our business. In a beauty industry we need to stay competitive to achieve our goals and remain different.
